Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized store environment and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train store employees to ensure excellent customer service and a positive store experience.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and employee development to ensure a high-performing team.
- Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising displays to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including cash handling and security procedures.
- Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure a smooth and efficient store experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of retail experience and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and management.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
