Job Summary

As a Procurement Specialist at Mouser Electronics, you will be responsible for purchasing electronic components from vendors while ensuring total quality and effective customer service. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and entering data for purchase orders, purchasing electronic components within established guidelines and processes, and communicating with vendors to obtain product or service information.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare and enter data for purchase orders
  • Purchase electronic components within established guidelines and processes
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information
  • Review purchasing reports and analyze data to develop productive solutions for purchasing matters

Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years post-high school experience, including minimum 1 year approved work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Energy, attention to detail, multi-tasking, self-control, productive attitude, criticism tolerance, interpersonal insight, self-reliance, task focus, and acceptance of diversity
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software
