Experienced Environmental Artist Wanted for Unreal Engine 4/5 Project

Redemption Road Games, a renowned indie development studio in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Environmental Artist/World Builder to join their team. As a key member of the project, you will be responsible for creating high-quality levels that maximize the use of bespoke and modular assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create immersive environments within performance budgets and design constraints
  • Build pleasing compositions through asset placement
  • Communicate and collaborate with other development disciplines

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in world building, in Unreal Engine 4 / Unreal Engine 5, demonstrated in your portfolio
  • Keen eye for composition and polish to make a believable world
  • Experience with interior building design and construction
  • Expertise in scene construction, prop placement, use of the foliage tool, lighting, and post process volumes
  • Experience in modeling, sculpting, texture, and material creation, specifically Unreal landscape materials
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Preferred candidates will have experience with Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer

Portfolio Requirements:

  • Demonstrate competency in Unreal landscape composition & layout, including the foliage system, post processing, and lighting
