Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a WIC Certifier Nutritionist, you will play a critical role in providing essential nutrition services to women, infants, and children in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments to determine client eligibility for the WIC program
  • Provide education and counseling to participants on healthy eating habits and nutrition
  • Make referrals to community services and resources as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate participant health and nutritional status
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition sciences or public health nutrition
  • One year of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Medical Assistant Registered certification
  • Licensure as a Registered Dietitian or eligibility for registration preferred
