Topographic and Highway Construction Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at Apex Engineering Group Inc. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will lead survey crews in the field and provide topographic, boundary, and construction surveys on various civil engineering projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing land surveying services, gathering field survey data, researching existing record information, and preparing accurate field notes, drawings, and records of changes in conditions. You will also be responsible for delegating survey tasks to other survey technicians under your direct supervision.
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of topographic and highway/roadway construction staking experience, with proficiency in operating GPS, robotic, and total station survey equipment. Familiarity with NDDOT or MnDOT survey data collection and construction survey methods is a plus.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
