Job Opportunity

Touro University invites applications for a clinical faculty position in the area of Prosthodontics. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic community through clinical instruction, research, and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide predoctoral preclinical didactic and laboratory instruction
  • Supervise patient care in comprehensive care programs
  • Teach and participate in administrative responsibilities
  • Engage in scholarly activity and committee membership
Requirements
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from a CODA-accredited dental school
  • Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited AEGD or GPR program
  • Eligibility for licensure in New York State
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) preferred
  • Dental License Registration required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to manage and organize daily tasks
  • Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks
  • Interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion
  • Ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships
  • Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines
