Dietitian Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian at RVNAhealth, you will play a critical role in consulting with clients and patients to address their unique nutritional needs and developing specialized diets for optimal health.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for home health and hospice patients, including scheduling, performing, preparing for, documenting, and billing for self-pay nutrition education and counseling services.
• Develop and implement nutrition programs and presentations for community events, including health and wellness events, and collaborating with marketing and development departments to build business and promote the agency.
• Collaborate with marketing and development departments to build business and promote the agency, and support the agency at fundraising events, receptions, and other community partnership activities.
• Participate in the agency's quality improvement process, including attending mandatory staff meetings, and provide constructive feedback to improve agency performance.
• Demonstrate punctuality and good attendance in accordance with HR policies, establish positive, respectful relationships with employees, volunteers, and the community, and demonstrate computer literacy by effectively using electronic communication and entering information into agency systems accurately and timely.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the state of CT.
• Demonstrated computer literacy, with the ability to problem solve.
• Ability to teach others through the use of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic methods.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently on projects.
• Is self-directed and able to move from priority to priority independently.
