Job Title: Tasting Room Host

Join the Angel of the Winds team as a Tasting Room Host, where you will provide exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences for our visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner.
  • Escort guests to restaurant tables and present them with clean menus, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Organize station planning and dining room assignments to ensure efficient service.
  • Take guests' names for the waiting list and quote wait times accurately, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Monitor tables and track clean, dirty, and occupied tables to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Collect money and return change to guests in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring a positive transaction experience.
  • Operate, balance, and reconcile cash till and Point of Sales (POS) systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding menu offerings and/or specials, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
  • Ensure all work stations are stocked, neat, clean, and sanitary, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Answer phones for reservations and room service, providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Ring in room service and deliver it to the server assistant in a timely manner, ensuring seamless service.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines as applicable, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
  • Responsible for all monies coming in and out of the restaurant during operating hours, maintaining accuracy and accountability.
  • Work days, nights, weekends, special events, and holidays as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the team and the company.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional guest service skills required, with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
  • Must be 18 years of age, with a valid ID.
  • Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
  • Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • One to three months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have one to three months cash handling experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication, with occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force. Repetitive movement is required daily, with sedentary work, occasional bending, and crouching. This is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week work operation, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
