SMG Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team at Studio Movie Grill. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
• Verify guests' age and ensure they are at least 21 years old
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and make recommendations
• Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests at the bar
• Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
• Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar
• Assist in placing orders for all liquor and bar-related supplies
• Conduct inventory of all liquor and bar-related supplies

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Obtain any necessary alcohol service licensing requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a full-service bar
• Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus, and classic cocktail preparation
• Ability to stand on feet for an extended period
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with strong ability to interact with guests
• Verbal communication skills, and accurate math and cash handling skills
• Impeccable character
