Job Title: IT Project Director

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

At Turion Space, we are seeking an experienced IT Project Director to lead our technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects successfully.

About the Role:

  • The IT Project Director will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing technology solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Define project deliverables and milestones.
  • Execution: Lead project execution, coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to ensure project success.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including team members and budgets, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that IT solutions are delivered according to specifications and meet the company's quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects successfully.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience applying them in practice.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
