Resource Pool Model:
ProMedica is introducing a new tiered model for full-time, part-time, and per-diem nursing staff. This innovative resource pool approach offers ProMedica's nurses enhanced flexibility in their work schedules, promotes professional development, improves patient care, and addresses staffing shortages across our facilities. Depending on the tier assigned, the Registered Nurse will be expected to float between one or multiple hospitals within the Resource Pool, delivering nursing care to individuals and groups that necessitate specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The Registered Nurse will operate within the full scope of nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nursing in their respective state, ensuring compliance with all accrediting bodies of the hospitals.
Available Hospitals for Tier II:
- The Toledo Hospital
- Flower Hospital

Qualifications:
Education: The RN in Ohio is required to complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during their licensure period, with at least 1 hour focused on Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an Acute Care RN
License: Must possess a current State license as a Registered Nurse
Certifications:
