Hospice Chaplain

Job Summary

We are seeking a Hospice Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support for hospice patients, families, and staff of Village Hospice. This role requires the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and faith traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides emotional/spiritual support to hospice patients and family members/caregivers">
• Completes initial spiritual assessment within 5 days of patient admission">
• Performs duties in accordance with hospice policies and Federal and State hospice regulatory requirements">

Requirements:

• ">
• Masters of Science degree in religion studies">
• Advanced training in counseling, Clinical Pastoral Education or Gerontology required">
• Minimum of one unit Clinical Pastoral Education CPE">
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation">
• Ordained, commissioned or credentialed according to the practice of an organized religious group">

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
