Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Endoscopy Nurse to join our team at Blue River Surgery Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical and GI procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and GI procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee the room during a case as the circulator, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition between procedures.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the surgical team, including physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize preference cards and update them as necessary to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Perform duties of the circulating or scrub role, including setting up instruments and equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Nursing Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
  • RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment.
  • ACLS as required by facility.
  • CNOR / SGNA certification preferred.
