Electrocardiogram Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrocardiogram Technician to join our team at Christus Health. As an ECG Tech, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic electrocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.

• Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms on patients, adhering to department policy and procedure.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in electrocardiography or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform ECGs with accuracy and precision.

This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with occasional exposure to infections and contagious diseases. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.

This role requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving equipment and supplies up to 20 pounds. You must be able to stand for long periods and move quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
