Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Paramedic to work alongside our experienced team of medical professionals. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including pre-hospital, inter-facility, and hospital environments. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing patient conditions, administering life-saving interventions, and communicating effectively with medical teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing basic, advanced, and critical care life support to patients in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Evaluating patient conditions and prioritizing medical procedures to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Rescuing and extricating victims of accidents or sudden illness using proper techniques.
  • Treating patients at the scene, en route, or in an interfacility setting, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Maintaining effective communication with medical personnel and treatment facilities to coordinate patient care.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a professional working relationship and ensure efficient incident management.
  • Demonstrating competency in patient assessment, treatment, and documentation, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Pennsylvania certified Critical Care Paramedic certification or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Paramedic, with a strong background in critical care medicine.
  • BCLS, PALS, ACLS, PHTLS, or ITLS certification, as well as EVOC/EVDT and NIMS training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.

Must be able to see as it relates to general, near, far, color, peripheral vision and vision monotony. Maintain balance and strength in awkward positions. Speak clearly, even under stressful circumstances. Accurately communicate ideas orally and in writing in English. Respond physically with speed. Speak at proper volumes for appropriate situations. Must get along with others.
