Maintenance and Custodial Responsibilities

As a key member of our McDonald's team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our restaurant. This includes tasks such as:

  • Filtering oil fryers daily
  • Maintaining outside grounds
  • Cleaning equipment, windows, stock rooms, and restrooms
  • Unloading delivery trucks twice a week
  • Taking out and emptying the trash compactor
  • Changing light bulbs
  • Communicating with managers when maintenance issues arise
  • Cleaning HVAC/Exhaust units and the roof of debris
The Importance of This Role

This role is critical in ensuring a memorable visit for our customers and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees. You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a memorable visit by maintaining the upkeep of customer and employee-accessible areas
  • Providing the supply by unloading incoming deliveries and replenishing necessary stock
  • Being in the know by conducting routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment and building systems
  • Leading the experience by ensuring maintenance meets and exceeds food safety and storage standards of excellence
