Critical Care Registered Nurse

The Critical Care Registered Nurse plays a vital role in delivering both direct and indirect patient care within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position requires the application of the nursing process to effectively plan and execute care for patients, while also focusing on educating patients and their families, as well as ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
Essential Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
At least six (6) months of recent experience as a practicing nurse is required.
Key Competencies
Proven proficiency in at least 50% of the skills necessary for Level II nursing.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within one year of hire.
Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within one year of hire.
Licensure Requirements
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
