Samaritan Health Nursing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Samaritan Health. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on best practices and new technologies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Current NYS RN license and BLS certification required.
  • IV certified within six months of employment.
  • Three years of experience in clinical nursing, including management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $38.76 per hour, estimated annual salary: $80,000 - $90,000 based on location and experience.
