Saddle Stitcher Operator

Moore Company is seeking a skilled Saddle Stitcher Operator to join our team. As a Saddle Stitcher Operator, you will be responsible for operating saddle stitcher machines and ensuring the quality of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain saddle stitcher machines to produce high-quality products.
• Set up and fine-tune machines to ensure minimal drops and stops during operation.
• Interpret job tickets and SOPs to ensure accurate completion of jobs.
• Maintain and update maintenance records.
• Train and guide Machine Associates as needed.
• Sort and prepare output for the next step in the process.
• Understand and follow safety and quality requirements.
• Set and monitor machine calipers to ensure quality of finished products.
• Recommends and helps develop SOPs for job-related functions, process improvement, and ways to improve efficiencies.
• Set up, adjust, and repair stitcher heads as needed for smooth and trouble-free operation.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
