Job Title: Penetrant Line Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Penetrant Line Operator to join our team. As a Penetrant Line Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting titanium castings using Non-Destructive Treatment (NDT) techniques. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of NDT principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect titanium castings using liquid penetrant solution
  • Run castings through the penetrant line process
  • Keep the Penetrant Department clean and orderly
  • Work in a darkroom using ultra-violet light and mark castings for weld repair
  • May be required to operate a hand grinder to remove minor defects
Requirements:
  • Good attendance record
  • Able to understand and follow all verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
  • HS diploma or equivalent GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check
  • Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening
  • Must be able to pass vision screening with or without correction
Working Conditions:
  • Frequently working near moving mechanical parts
  • Exposure to chemicals including acetone, penetrant, and developer
  • Exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, and chemicals
Schedule:
  • Weekend Day Shift (Friday-Sunday 3X12) - $1.25/hr. shift differential
