Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and friendly Guest Service Representative to join our team at Viejas Casino. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process room reservations, registrations, check-ins/check-outs, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Offer guests alternative room options and upsell rooms when possible.
  • Process all payment types, including adjustments, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Handle monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit.
  • Complete cashier's reports, prepare deposits, and count cashier bank at the end of the shift using computerized or manual systems.
  • Assist with making room reservations.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Identify and explain room features to guests.
  • Act as a concierge, providing guests with directions and information about property amenities, services, and local areas of interest.
  • Answer telephone calls, respond to guest requests, and follow through to ensure a satisfactory outcome.
  • Make other reservations, such as restaurant reservations.
  • Maintain and organize the work area, lobby, and front desk area.
  • Arrange transportation for guests and visitors.
  • Partner with and assist other team members to promote a team environment and achieve common goals.
  • Notify Security of any guest reports of theft.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Adhere to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Guest service experience preferred.
  • Ability to type 35 WPM.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members verbally or in written form.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
