Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Precision Truck Center. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles' performance and function.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components, as well as excellent communication skills to explain vehicle issues clearly and concisely to customers.

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
  • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, and brake pad replacements
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Create repair estimates and timelines and convey information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are required
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs
