Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionics Electrical Technician Senior to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems on our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  2. Avionics and Electronic Systems Testing: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of avionics and electronic systems to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on avionics and electronic systems, ensuring that all work is done in accordance with engineering specifications and drawings.
  4. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members on avionics and electronic systems, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  5. Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company quality and safety standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
  2. Skills and Knowledge: A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred; proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of avionics and electronic systems; ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  3. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
