Job Summary

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Counselor to join our team. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for providing guidance, safety, leadership, education, and enjoyment for children served by camp.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for staff and children.
  • Lead daily camp activities and ensure a fun and engaging experience for campers.
  • Assist with daily program tasks and stay updated on current issues regarding camp programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate camp programs to ensure high-quality service to participants.
  • Maintain certifications in CPR and other required certifications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Experience working with children in a structured setting.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and ability to obtain other required certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
