We are seeking a highly qualified Music Professor to join our team at Tacoma Community College. As a Music Professor, you will be responsible for teaching music courses, assessing student learning, and participating in the development and review of curriculum.
Responsibilities- Teach music courses, including Music Appreciation, Introduction to Digital Music, World Music, and Applied Music Lessons
- Assess student learning and use data to improve teaching and learning
- Participate in the development and review of curriculum
- Maintain current knowledge in the field of music and effective pedagogy
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Masters degree in music from an accredited college or university
- Experience teaching college-level music courses
- Experience in music performance and/or scholarship
