About the Role

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Journeyman Lineman to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment, both overhead and underground.
  • Utilize line trucks, aerial boom, lifts, and wire pulling equipment to perform duties.
  • Maintain lines and services, including pole climbing, hot sticking, and working out of truck-mounted bucket lifts.
  • Operate switches, cutouts, and use grounding devices to work on de-energized lines and equipment.
  • Train and direct the work of a trainee in the trade.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Journeyman Lineman certification, including completion of a formal training program.
  • Must meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power.
  • Hot stick training and experience required.
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Journeymen Lineman.
