Job Summary

Labcorp is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including patient service centers and client offices. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection, processing, and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information and specimen data into our laboratory information system
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet laboratory and business objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
