  • Completes assigned tasks as per daily work requirements.
  • Conducts thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and disinfecting.

Safety Precautions:
Ensures that appropriate caution signs are displayed before commencing cleaning tasks.


  • Handles carpet cleaning, which includes vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing.
  • Maintains walls and ceilings through washing, wiping, and spot cleaning.
  • Utilizes proper cleaning solutions to remove dirt and grease from surfaces.
  • Replaces cubicle curtains as necessary.
  • Disposes of waste in designated containers and ensures trash receptacles are lined appropriately.
  • Keeps all areas, including resident and non-resident spaces, clean and organized, ensuring tools and supplies are stored correctly.
  • Disposes of infectious waste in accordance with safety guidelines.

Additional Duties:
Undertakes unscheduled housekeeping and laundry tasks as directed.


Maintenance of Supplies:


  • Ensures that housekeeping supplies are replenished as needed.
  • Communicates supply needs to the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintains the facility and its equipment to ensure resident safety and comfort.
  • Reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
  • Follows established safety protocols when using equipment and supplies.
  • Assists colleagues with heavy lifting as required.
