Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
• Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and complete continuing education requirements to maintain certification.

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a focus on individual tax returns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
