General Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, the Radiology Technologist will perform advanced professional tasks in the exposure and processing of radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations. The role may involve circulating to various diagnostic radiology areas as assigned, such as surgery, trauma, and pediatrics, and is recognized as an expert in the field.

Key Duties:
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for various examinations and studies.
  • Assist physicians in performing specialized imaging procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or film output issues.
  • Act as a resource and mentor for other Radiographers and students.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the assigned area.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in diagnostic radiography techniques.
  • Knowledgeable in the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capable of assessing and caring for patients of various ages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
Experience & Education:

Preferred: At least one (1) year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the relevant specialty.

Education: Associate's degree or higher preferred. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with a focus on a primary cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire. ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI credentials in the relevant specialty must be current upon hire or advancement.
