Overview

As a Clinical Faculty Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering professional clinical services within the scope of clinical Faculty responsibilities and under the guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).

The incumbent will provide supervision of medical care delivery for the organization's clinic, serve as a preceptor and mentor for Resident Physicians, and prepare and deliver teaching conferences for residents, students, staff, other faculty, and mid-levels on medical topics as needed.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering teaching conferences, observing care provided, and providing ongoing feedback to Resident Physicians. You will also be responsible for supervising medical care delivery for the organization's clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional clinical services within the scope of clinical Faculty responsibilities and under the guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)

• Supervise medical care delivery for the organization's clinic

• Serve as a preceptor and mentor for Resident Physicians

• Prepare and deliver teaching conferences for residents, students, staff, other faculty, and mid-levels on medical topics as needed

Qualifications

• Appointment as a Clinical Faculty member for the Program of the University of California UC Davis School of Medicine required

• Current California MD or OD license required

• Valid and unrestricted United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required

• Membership in good standing of hospitals medical staff required

Pay Range
$92.88 - $148.61 /hour
