We are seeking a Clinical Education Facilitator to support our Physical Therapy Assistant program. As a facilitator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality learning experiences for our students.
**Job Summary**
This is a part-time, hourly position with a competitive salary of $15 per hour. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience working with students with special needs.
**Responsibilities & Duties**
* Serve as a simulated patient during practical exam assessments, coaching on presentation, actions, and responses to ensure consistency in the assessment process* Review patient case materials in advance to ensure a quality student experience* Use college email account and check daily* Adhere to FERPA regulations* Complete mandatory annual education required by the institution
**Qualifications**
* Student or graduate of an accredited PT or PTA program, or deemed equivalent program* Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and counseling skills* Current knowledge and skill in using information and computer technology, or proven ability to learn these skills* Able to work with students with special needs based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)* Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and practice issues affecting clinical education, students, and the profession of physical therapy*
