Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, implementing new technologies and methodologies as needed.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial data by ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business growth.
  • Lead the implementation and management of ERP systems, specifically CloudSuite and SyteLine.
  • Manage financial risk, forecast long-term financial trends, and oversee the company's financial systems and policies.
  • Provide leadership and support to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to understand the financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly CloudSuite and SyteLine.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an understandable way.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.
  • High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
