Location: Concord, NC
Role Summary: We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Educational Psychologist to enhance our academic environment in Concord, NC. The Educational Psychologist will be instrumental in addressing the psychological and educational requirements of students. This role entails collaborating with educators, families, and students to deliver comprehensive psychological services that promote students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology
- Valid North Carolina State Educational Psychologist certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to assess students' cognitive, academic, and emotional growth
- Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention techniques
- Provide both individual and group counseling to tackle students' emotional and behavioral issues
- Work in partnership with teachers, families, and school leaders to create strategies that enhance student learning and welfare
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team discussions to evaluate student progress and formulate action plans
- Deliver crisis intervention services as needed
- Facilitate professional development sessions for staff on mental health, learning disabilities, and behavioral strategies
Certifications:
- North Carolina State Educational Psychologist certification
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential (preferred but not mandatory)
