Opportunity Overview

North American Lighting (NAL) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to enhance our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and implementation of the manufacturing engineering function, offering technical guidance across various engineering disciplines, manufacturing processes, and support functions within the designated facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading all manufacturing engineering initiatives and personnel within the facility.
  • Providing robust support for new product introductions from the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Assisting in the development of critical documentation such as Process Failure Mode and Effect Analyses (PFMEA), Process Design Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, and other Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
  • Ensuring the timely acquisition of all necessary equipment for new product introductions.
  • Overseeing departmental budgets and operations in accordance with NAL policies.

Qualifications

Required Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience in a manufacturing setting, including:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 4 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or managerial capacity.

An MBA or MS in Engineering is advantageous, along with experience in an engineering role within the automotive lighting industry.
