Job Summary

Jacam Catalyst, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Junior Accountant in our organization. This is an entry-level position that will provide the candidate with an opportunity to be actively involved in the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily and monthly accounting activities, including general ledger closing, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Create or maintain monthly schedules for internal and external reporting.
  • Participate in monthly physical inventory counts.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 0-3 years of prior work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with database tools/queries such as Access or SQL preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to create and review documents, procedures, and other pertinent data.
  • Ability to work as both an individual contributor and as a member of a team.
Work Environment

A controlled atmosphere set within a warehouse environment.

Physical Demands
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds in various packaging.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - safety glasses, goggles, etc.
  • Vision: Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception.
  • Sense of Sound: 55 decibels, adult conversation.
  • Sense of Smell: Able to detect odors.
