We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at TTi Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural engineering designs for our program projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for complex projects, ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including structural engineers and technical disciplines, to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.
  • Perform formal calculations and drawings, and review existing conditions and as-built drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurement, and create design specifications for construction and/or procurement.
  • Execute designs to schedule requirements while maintaining a high degree of quality in work product, and coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to customer and project locations to coordinate designs with team members.

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering (Structural or related) from an accredited university, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
  • US citizenship is required per contract requirement.
  • Possess active security clearance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
  • Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.
  • Ability to execute work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
  • Experience designing seismic bracing and supports.
  • Experience executing engineering and design with Revit.
  • Design experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide.
  • Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1, MIL-Q-9858A, or ISO-9000.
  • Knowledge in use of Bechtel Corporate guides and standards.
  • Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
  • Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
