Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Elementary Teacher and Instructional Leader to join our team at Rêve Preparatory Charter School. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in advancing the school's mission by developing and implementing effective curriculum and instructional practices.

About the Role
The Elementary Teacher and Instructional Leader will be responsible for teaching elementary school students and leading instructional teams to develop and implement effective lesson plans. You will work closely with the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction and the School Director to establish and maintain a positive school culture and create a college preparatory curriculum for each grade level. Your expertise in analyzing data and using it to inform instruction will be essential in driving student academic success.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and use the school's scope and sequence to create unit plans and daily lesson plans
- Submit lesson plans to the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction or the School Director for review and feedback
- Review and provide feedback on lesson plans from assigned peer teachers
- Collaborate with the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction or the School Director to revise and improve daily lesson plans
- Develop curriculum that addresses the diverse learning needs of students, including special education and English Language Learner students
- Implement and maintain school systems and procedures, including homework, discipline, transitions, community celebrations, breakfast, lunch, and classroom culture
- Execute daily, weekly, and interim assessments and analysis, implementing responsive instructional action plans to ensure student mastery of standards

Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; graduate degree preferred
- Experience in a PK-8 classroom with a proven track record of student academic success
- Ability to take constructive feedback and incorporate it into your practice
- Innovative and willing to take risks
- Highly organized and efficient, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Familiarity with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Standards in relevant grades and subjects

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Teaching Certification in Texas is highly preferred
- Proven track record of student academic achievement
- State required fingerprint and background check
- Belief in and alignment with Rêve Preparatory Charter School's mission and core values
- Enthusiastic mindset to take on non-related job duties as necessary and assigned
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with adults, including peers and families
