Residential Program Supervisor

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Supervisor to join our team. As a Residential Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to Youth Counselors, participating in our residential treatment model for youth, and supervising youth in accordance with MPA policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide supervision and guidance to Youth Counselors
- Participate as a team player in MPA's residential treatment model for youth
- Supervise youth, in accordance with MPA policies, procedures, and individual treatment plans
- Facilitate the residential program's routine
- Coordinate and manage recreational and educational programming for youth
- Document all services provided according to program policies and procedures
- Use training to provide behavioral management and crisis intervention
- Engage in behavioral management techniques, in accordance with policies, procedures, and training
- Communicate effectively with other employees, youth, and stakeholders
- Uphold professional conduct boundaries with youth, families, and stakeholders
- Engage and connect with youth as a compassionate professional to develop positive relationships
- Attend professional trainings and workshops, and strive to understand and implement all trainings and workshops in residential programming
- Manage facilities to ensure they are clean, orderly, and free of hazards
- Arrange laundry, phone, hygiene, and other schedules for students to meet structured daily routines
- Develop and maintain Crisis Plans (ICMPs) and Incentive Plans (SBIPs) for each student in the community
- Assist in managing the transportation fleet
- Manage weekly communication to the team about student progress
- Abide by all MPA policies and procedures
- Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Program Director
- Must be able to successfully complete all phases of pre-service training and ongoing training as required by state and MPA policy
- Must be a leader
- Must be able to work in occasionally high-pressure, high-stress, and physical environments
- Possess independent problem-solving skills and be willing to seek assistance and guidance when needed
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Creative and caring
- Able to be organized and prioritize workload
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated
- An associate's or higher degree with a minimum of 12 credits in the field of human services or other field related to residential care, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university
- The equivalent of 2 years of full-time experience working with children
