Job Title: Optometric Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring that all patients receive the highest quality of care.
  • Assist Optometrists with pre-examination testing, including taking measurements and explaining results to patients.
  • Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, and provide clinical support to Optometrists as needed.
  • Process patient records, including filing and submitting invoices for payment.
  • Operate the POS system, collecting payment and handling customer transactions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in guest service, retail, or a related field.
  • High school graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in guest service, retail, or optical.
