We are currently looking for a Plumbing Service Technician to independently conduct diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations of commercial plumbing systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will utilize various tools, gauges, and measuring devices under the supervision of a manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate plumbing system functionality through observation, testing, and setup.
  • Disassemble and reassemble commercial plumbing apparatus for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring devices to service equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Effectively communicate through written and verbal instructions.
  • Complete work orders, task lists, and documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Document invoicing details based on labor hours and materials utilized for service.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer.
  • Procure materials and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Exhibit a proficient level of skill and competency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.
  • Familiarity with plumbing codes.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in plumbing service work.
  • Capability to endure extreme environmental conditions including heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust, poor ventilation, gases, and oils.
  • Ability to work skillfully with both hands consistently.
  • Independently lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, twist, grasp, and feel on a regular basis; stand, walk, talk, see (20/20 vision naturally or corrected), hear within normal range, and perform repetitive motion activities.
  • Work independently, under pressure, and without close supervision to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Willingness to consistently adhere to the required work schedule.
  • Participate in the technician on-call rotation as necessary.
  • May encounter wet, slippery floors, objects on the floor, various chemicals, and sharp objects. Work may occur on carpeted, concrete, wood, tile, and/or vinyl surfaces within a commercial environment.
