Physician/Hospitalist Opportunity in Rhode Island

We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician/Hospitalist to join our team in a high-risk clinic in Rhode Island. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Hospitalist or PCP to work with an adult medicine population and make a meaningful impact in the community.
About the Position- This role involves caring for high-acuity patients, some of whom are transitioning from hospital care to primary care, while others require ongoing management of chronic conditions.
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in Internal Medicine and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong behavioral health overlay.
- As a team-based practice, you will work closely with advanced practice care team members, including nurse care managers, behavioral health specialists, and clinical pharmacists.
- Decision-making is collaborative, and you will participate in case conferences to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Effective communication and adaptability are essential in this role, as you will need to navigate a dynamic environment and learn new practice management techniques.
- Flexibility, a team-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills are must-haves for this position.
- You will serve a diverse, multi-cultural, and underserved patient population, and your ability to communicate effectively in group settings and one-on-one with patients and family members is crucial.

- Our clinic uses Intergy EMR, and you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including a base salary, incentive plan, loan repayment through NHSC, and opportunities for professional development.
- Call is 1:14, and you will have a generous PTO policy, including 240 hours per year, as well as opportunities for CME and professional growth.
- Base salary plus incentive plan based on quality measures
