Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Acute Care ER nursing is essential.
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida or be eligible for licensure.
• An Associate Degree or a Registered Nurse Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained prior to starting employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training is required within the first 90 days of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or instructor status must be acquired within 90 days of starting.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or instructor status is also required within 90 days.
Key Responsibilities:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
• Delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with a range of conditions, from minor injuries to critical illnesses.
• Assessing, triaging, and treating patients of various age groups.
• Developing individualized care plans based on patient assessments and expected outcomes.
• Managing multiple patient cases simultaneously while prioritizing care needs.
• Providing follow-up care instructions and making necessary referrals.
• Collaborating effectively with physicians and other healthcare departments to ensure patient safety and focus.
