Job Summary
In this role, you will assess patients' conditions, develop individualized care plans, administer direct care, coordinate with other healthcare disciplines, and ensure a clean and safe environment for patients. You will also communicate effectively with staff and other departments, participate in quality assurance activities, and contribute to the growth and development of the nursing team.
Working Conditions
You will work in a fast-paced environment where you may be exposed to infectious diseases, blood, body fluids, and other unpleasant elements. You will also be required to handle emergency situations and work irregular hours due to multiple calls and inquiries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in New York State. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least one year of previous hospital acute care experience are preferred. New graduates may be considered if they have completed a capstone in the Operating Room.
