Pharmaceutical Dispenser

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation and dispensation of medication and other pharmaceuticals according to established operational and chemical procedures, and as prescribed by physicians in a retail setting.

• Prepare and dispense medication and other pharmaceuticals to patients
• Oversee and closely review pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient care and education
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
• Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and patient satisfaction

• Pharmacist licensure in the state of Kentucky
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
