NESCO Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to enhance our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware for microcontroller-driven control systems.
  • Engineer systems that meet product specifications and requirements.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of both analog and digital embedded systems.
  • Experience with touchscreen technology and integrating display interfaces.
  • Create IoT solutions utilizing wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Lora.
  • Work with testing organizations to ensure adherence to industry standards including UL, ETL, and TUV.
  • Develop resilient solutions capable of enduring challenging environments and atypical scenarios such as electrical shorts, electromagnetic compatibility, electrostatic discharge, and extreme conditions.
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to identify and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master's degree or a degree in Computer Science is advantageous.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and adjust to evolving environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience.
  • Proficient in developing electrical schematics and employing the DFMEA methodology.
  • Design circuit functionalities for normal operations, fault detection, and recovery.
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, operational amplifiers, power supply units, connectors, and best practices in multi-layer PCB design.
  • Conduct circuit simulations using tools like Spice.
  • Implement protective measures for open/short circuits, ESD, and EMC for both low-level signals and relay circuits.
  • Prior experience in transitioning PCB designs into production.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FCC, UL, IEC, CE, and NSF.

  • Compensation is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
