Advanced Practitioner/Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner/Surgeon to join our team at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. As a key member of our cardiac care team, you will provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities- Take medical history and assess medical conditions to interpret findings
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and dictate reports
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and medical staff
- Perform clinical evaluations and documentation of patients, including preparing new patients for clinic and managing follow-up appointments
- Participate in hospital rounding and patient evaluation, including evaluating new consults at clinical sites and preparing H & P and discharge summaries
- Respond to physician pager calls when the physician is in procedures, as directed by the physician
- Nurse Practitioner: National certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care (AG-AC NP) or Acute Care
- Physician's Assistant: Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years of college credit or graduate from ARC-PA approved program, and current license as a Physician Assistant with the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure
- Clinical Nurse Specialist: Completion of a formal program of study approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, national certification from a national certifying body acceptable by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing in Acute Care, and current BLS certification
- Cardiology experience
As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers to provide exceptional patient care. You will play an integral role in shaping the standard for excellence in patient care and contributing to the future of cardiac care.
