Key Responsibilities:

  1. Citrix Environment Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Enhance the scalability and efficiency of Citrix environments to align with organizational objectives.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Citrix infrastructure, including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Cloud Connectors, NetScaler, and VDAs.

  1. Technical Proficiency:

• Conduct thorough analyses and troubleshooting of Citrix-related issues, focusing on connectivity, application performance, and system integrity.

• Implement industry best practices for the deployment and management of Citrix solutions.

• Ensure timely application of patches and updates to maintain security and functionality.

• Optimize Cloud Connectors for seamless integration with cloud services.

• Configure and manage NetScaler for efficient load balancing and secure access.

• Administer StoreFront to facilitate effective application delivery and user access.

• Ensure the performance and reliability of VDAs for consistent application delivery.

  1. Client Support and Collaboration:

• Provide advanced support for end-user issues related to Citrix environments, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure system compatibility and integration.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Citrix configurations and processes.

  1. Project Leadership:

• Lead Citrix-related projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.

• Assess and recommend new technologies to enhance the Citrix environment.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• 7-10+ years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, with a focus on setup, configuration, and optimization.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex Citrix issues and deliver high-quality customer support.

• Experience managing large-scale Citrix deployments and projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in Citrix technologies including Cloud Connectors, NetScaler, StoreFront, and VDAs.

• Strong understanding of related technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server.

• Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.

Preferred:

• Advanced certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
