Revenue Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Auditor to join our team at Ameristar Casinos. As a Revenue Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

• Conduct Daily Audits: Perform thorough audits of cage, slots, table games, gaming, and non-gaming revenue areas to ensure compliance with operational practices.
• Identify and Report Discrepancies: Investigate and report any discrepancies found during the audit process to the supervisor.
• Prepare Journal Entries: Prepare and record daily revenue and/or cashier activity in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records and files are maintained for daily audits and other related activities.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all areas of responsibility are in compliance with regulatory requirements and report any potential issues to the supervisor.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of introductory college or high school-level Accounting courses highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum six (6) months of previous Audit, accounting, or related experience required; must have knowledge of Audit functions.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English; ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism; intermediate computer skills and competence in Microsoft Office applications.
