We are a pioneering substance abuse treatment facility dedicated to delivering compassionate care and evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with addiction. Our team of experienced professionals includes psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and support staff who work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Director to lead our clinical team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role is primarily offsite, allowing for flexibility while requiring the Medical Director to be on-call as needed to support our experienced staff of psychiatric nurse practitioners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in addiction medicine and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the treatment team.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct telehealth consultations and assessments as needed.
  • Offer guidance on medication management and treatment protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding substance abuse treatment.
  • Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
  • Review and provide input on clinical policies and procedures.
  • Be available for on-call support during critical situations or complex cases.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with a valid medical license.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction treatment or related areas.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in telehealth services is a plus.
