We are a pioneering substance abuse treatment facility dedicated to delivering compassionate care and evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with addiction. Our team of experienced professionals includes psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and support staff who work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive environment for our clients.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Medical Director to lead our clinical team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role is primarily offsite, allowing for flexibility while requiring the Medical Director to be on-call as needed to support our experienced staff of psychiatric nurse practitioners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in addiction medicine and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the treatment team.
- Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct telehealth consultations and assessments as needed.
- Offer guidance on medication management and treatment protocols.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding substance abuse treatment.
- Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
- Review and provide input on clinical policies and procedures.
- Be available for on-call support during critical situations or complex cases.
- MD or DO with a valid medical license.
- Board certification in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in addiction treatment or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in telehealth services is a plus.
